The city will begin construction on a new downtown parking lot between First Street and State Route 48. The lot will add 147 new parking spaces and will create a new vehicular and pedestrian access point into the downtown district from State Route 48. There will be no parking fee to use this lot.
The city has received $1,150,000 in grant funding toward the project.
