Loveland City Council is pleased to announce that the city was notified that it’s grant application submitted to the Clermont County Park District for improvements to McCoy Park, has been approved. The $14,000 grant through the Community Parks Improvement Program will include a $5,000 local match from the city resulting in a $19,000 project to make much needed repairs to the park's basketball and tennis courts. The courts will be repaired, resurfaced, re-coated and finalized with new striping. The restriping of the tennis courts will include Pickleball lines which continues to increase in popularity among our residents. Once completed, this project coupled with the new playset/shelter project ($59,000) and recent parking lot repairs ($44,000) will represent a $122,000 investment in McCoy Park during the past three (3) years. The project will commence in early 2019.
