The City of Loveland’s Hearts Afire Weekend will take place Feb. 9-11, 2024. The festival's main day is Saturday, Feb. 10. Large events such as this require temporary road closures and parking restrictions. The closures will be managed by on-duty law enforcement officers.
Anyone traveling downtown is asked to exercise caution due to the high volume of pedestrians crossing city streets.
Temporary Road Closures – Saturday, Feb. 10
The following road sections will be temporarily closed to through traffic:
- Railroad Avenue
- Grear Millitzer Place
Parking Restrictions – Saturday, Feb. 10
Some parking will be restricted due to event activities. Various parking spaces will be affected on the following streets:
- Railroad Avenue
- Grear Millitzer Place
- Railroad Depot Parking Lot (#8 on the map – near Fleet Feet)
- Kiwanis Park
Dog Park Closure – Saturday, Feb. 10
Kiwanis Park, including the Matt Haverkamp Foundation Dog Park, will be closed to event parking. Fireworks will be staged from this location. Please note the dog park will close at noon on Feb. 10.
Free Parking
The city operates more than 10 free public lots. Eventgoers are encouraged to use the Linda Cox Trailside Parking Lot (#10 on map) and East Loveland Nature Preserve (#11 on map). View parking map: https://lovinlifeloveland.com/parking/
There are also private, paid lots throughout Historic Downtown. Please note fees may be charged to park in these lots.
