The Loveland Business Enhancement Award is presented annually to the business that best exemplified success over the past year, whether through increased revenues, hiring of new employees, or significant effort to contribute to the beauty of our community through renovations, landscaping and aesthetic improvements. The 2018 award was co-shared between the Narrow Path Brewing Company and Cappy's Wine and Spirits. Chad Powers with Narrow Path brewery was on hand at the June 12 council meeting to accept the award from Mayor Kathy Bailey.
Narrow Path Brewing Company has completed enhancements of its outdoor beer garden area which features easy access to its tap room on the back side of its building. The beer garden is part grass and part patio and runs alongside the bike trail. It provides patrons with a pleasant and lighted outdoor space offering picnic tables, outdoor chairs, a fire pit, as well as game and recreational space. Chad and his partners took a vacant building and turned it into a beer garden paradise.
Mr. Powers thanked the city for their support in the start-up of his business. “I feel that the Narrow Path Brewing Company embodies the type of business we see being attracted to our downtown business district. They took an idea and an empty building and turned it into a thriving business attracting beer enthusiasts from all over the area to our downtown” Mayor Kathy Bailey stated.
Cappy’s Wine and Spirts will be on hand at the June 26 Council meeting to accept their award.
