[ARCHIVED] City Water SAFE to Drink

Alerts

On Feb. 2, there were reports of a sewer line break into the Little Miami River south of Historic Downtown Loveland. This was a FALSE report. Testing has determined there is no sewer line break.

The city's Public Works Department is aware of the situation and wants to remind you the City of Loveland's drinking water remains safe. The city's water source is well water, and it is NOT contaminated. The city does NOT use the Little Miami River as a water source.

Residents may use/drink their water as they normally would. There is no water advisory, boil alert, etc.

The Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati (MSD) is conducting further testing of the Little Miami River. Read more.
