[ARCHIVED] HOMEARAMA® Ribbon Cutting Held

Homearama Ribbon Cutting

A ribbon cutting ceremony was held Sept. 1 at the ChimneyRidge subdivision, site of the 59th HOMEARAMA® that will take place Sept. 3-18.

“This will give thousands of people the opportunity to see what the City of Loveland has to offer. This is very exciting, and we look forward to the next few weeks,” said Mayor Kathy Bailey during the ceremony.

ChimneyRidge is presented by Greg Berling and Ken Campbell and is located on 26 wooded acres off Butterworth Road on the Warren County side of the City of Loveland. Six fully landscaped and decorated homes in a variety of architectural styles will be featured in HOMEARAMA®.

Builders include AR Homes, Drees Homes, Fry Homes, Justin Doyle Homes, and WP Land Company, LLC (builder of two homes). The homes are priced between $1.2 and $1.4 million. Additionally, attendees can tour a tiny home.

Dave Stroup, President of the Home Builders Association of Greater Cincinnati, welcomed attendees to the ceremony. He described HOMEARAMA® as the “idea showcase,” where attendees are guaranteed to see the latest in new home design, technology, energy efficiency, outdoor living spaces, landscaping, and decorating. Visitors can expect to see current trends like expanded home offices, which have grown popular during the pandemic.

Stroup went on to say that research shows homebuilding can benefit any community — from job creation to lowering crime rates.

City and Chamber officials were recognized at the ceremony including Mayor Kathy Bailey, City Council members, City Manager David Kennedy, and President of the Little Miami River Chamber Alliance CeeCee Collins. The homebuilders and presenting sponsors were also recognized. The ceremony ended with a ribbon cutting presentation.

HOMEARAMA® was last held in the City of Loveland in 1989 at the Glen of Claiborne subdivision.
