On July 6, a National Weather Service-confirmed EF-2 tornado touched down in nearby Goshen Township. If you would like to make a donation to your neighboring community in need of assistance, the following organizations are working with Goshen Township:
Connect Clermont
Connect Clermont, an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) non-profit, has established a disaster relief fund. All donations will be used to aid disaster relief.
Checks are the preferred method of donation. Please make checks payable to “Connect Clermont” with “Goshen Area Relief” in the memo line, and mail to Connect Clermont, c/o Disaster Relief Fund, 2400 Clermont Center Drive, Suite 100, Batavia OH 45103.
Cash or check donations may also be brought to any Park National Bank location.
Goshen Education Foundation
The Goshen Education Foundation works with Goshen’s Board of Education, Goshen Local School District staff, and community agencies. All donations designated for tornado relief will be distributed to public and non-profit organizations providing support to relief and rebuilding efforts. Donations can be made online.
