Two city employees were recognized at the June 28 City Council meeting.
Finance Clerk Dawn Everett was presented a certificate of recognition and gift for her 12 years of service to the City of Loveland. She retires June 30.
“Because of the City of Loveland, my life has been enriched and blessed, and I want to thank you for that,” Everett expressed.
City Manager David Kennedy remarked on Everett’s customer service skills: “Customer service is ultra-important…If you’ve ever seen the final day to turn in your income taxes, there is a line of people. Dawn will stay as long as it takes to assist residents. Her tone never changes, and she is respectful of everyone. That is true customer service.”
Also at the meeting, Mayor Kathy Bailey administered the Oath of Office for a new city employee: Jake Stolz.

Stolz joins the city’s Public Works Department as a Maintenance Worker. He holds a degree in criminal justice from the University of Cincinnati. For the last four years, he worked as a seasonal employee for Union Township Public Works.
