Love was in the air in Loveland February 11-13. The city celebrated its first Hearts Afire Weekend. The event featured elements of fire and ice with live entertainment, outdoor decorations, and more. Businesses throughout the city participated with valentine specials and love-inspired activities.

One of the most popular event attractions were the ice sculptures. Approximately 30 ice sculptures were on display throughout the downtown area. Attendees could follow along through a digital map to discover the sculptures. Some of the most popular designs showcased the Cincinnati Bengals.

Other popular events around town included the Cappy's Charity Date Auction, the Couple Cupid Challenge at Mile 42, speed dating at The Works Pizza, vow renewals, Ghost (movie) photo ops at Whistle Stop Clayworks, the Eskimo Kisses outdoor game village, and painting classes held at various art galleries. It was a busy weekend!
