[ARCHIVED] Loveland Police Welcome New Officer

Kurt Magoteeaux Swearing In

The Loveland Police Department has hired a new police officer, Kurt Magoteaux. Magoteaux was sworn into office at the Aug. 24 Loveland City Council meeting.

Magoteaux comes to Loveland from the Colerain Township Police Department, where he served since 2011.

With Colerain Township, Magoteaux acted as an Officer in Charge, Traffic Safety Officer and Field Training Officer. He is also a Pepperball instructor, stop stick instructor, radar/LiDar instructor, and a crash reconstructionist.

Magoteaux grew up in the Miami Township area. He graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice.
