[ARCHIVED] Loveland Parking Meter Trial Program Extended Through July

Meter cropped

Due to delays in commencing the program, the City of Loveland’s parking meter pilot program will be extended through July 31, 2021.

The pilot began May 19 after a delayed start due to backordered equipment. The pilot was set to end June 30. At least 60 days of data needs to be collected to effectively evaluate the pilot.

The city will not collect parking fees on Sunday, July 4.

There will be no changes to the parking spots in the pilot program. The pilot will continue to incorporate less than 10% of the city’s parking spots. The pilot involves just 13 single-space, on-street spots along West Loveland Avenue, Broadway Street, Harrison Avenue, Railroad Avenue and Karl Brown Way, as well as 42 within the City Hall parking lot. These spots have been converted to paid spots for the recommended fee of $1.00 per hour. Drivers may pay for spots at kiosks located in the City Hall lot or via the ParkMobile smartphone app.

Residents and visitors can continue to provide feedback and ask questions about the pilot by contacting City Hall at (513) 683-0150 or info@lovelandoh.gov. To view fact sheets and instructional videos about the meters, please click here.
