[ARCHIVED] What to expect on Election Day

Many employees will be working remotely on Tuesday, November 3, as such the utility, tax, and building and zoning departments will be closed. However, the drive-thru window will be open to accept utility payments. Payments and applications can also be placed in the drop box outside City Hall located on Greer Millitzer Place. Some City services may be delayed until November 4. City Hall and the Safety Center will be cleaned and sanitized before and after the election.  On Tuesday, the Board of Elections will offer masks, gloves, and hand sanitizer to voters, surfaces will be sanitized throughout the day, and crowd control measures will be in place to encourage social distancing.
