The City of Loveland’s Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area (DORA), which allows for the consumption of alcohol within specific boundaries, has been permanently expanded. In order to continue to support the businesses located within the DORA district and to improve the economy of the City, City Council adopted legislation at their August 11 meeting allowing the DORA to be in effect daily from 12:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Mayor Bailey saluted our residents and the many visitors to the downtown district, on well the rules have been followed during the five months the modified DORA hours have been in place. She further commented; "The change to the DORA hours has been a real benefit to our downtown businesses in helping them deal with the COVID-19 restrictions".
