2018 Food Truck Rally

LPD is committed to providing the best services possible to our community. We believe that it is our responsibility not only to respond to a crime but help prevent it. The technology advancements have help crime prevention grow into a rapidly expanding professional field. So, LPD and the Ohio Crime Prevention Association spent 2019 working together to bring House of Worship Security Training and Crime Prevention Specialist Certification to Loveland.

Loveland's diverse faith community is an essential part of what makes Loveland great. We always want our faith organizations to be safe and inviting places where we can all come to worship. Sadly, what makes them so special can also make them targets of violence and theft. Why not serve your faith community as a security and safety advisor? Sign up today! Don't miss the training on January 13th!

LPD and the OCPA are also co-hosting Introduction to Crime Prevention - Crime Preventions Specialist Certification for our faith community, businesses, non-profit organizations, and government partners. CPS certification is a great skill set to expand your capabilities in your personal and professional life. Effective Crime Prevention has been seen as a key strategy in reducing crime and violence in our communities.  This comprehensive course is designed to address local community needs ranging from physical security to violence prevention. This course is tailored to the needs of today's crime prevention and community policing practitioners, and places great emphasis on programmatic initiatives giving the practitioners the knowledge, tools, and resources to do their jobs successfully. Join us on January 29, 30 and 31!!

Both classes can be taken independently or take them both and join the many crime prevention practitioners around Ohio!  We hope to see you there!
