On Tuesday, July 23, 2019 during City Council meeting, Officer Elliot Spraul was sworn into office by Mayor Kathy Bailey. Chief Rahe introduced Officer Spraul by stating that he attended Three Rivers Schools and graduated from Taylor High School in 2013. Elliot quickly joined the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office where he worked as a deputy assigned to the jail. There, he earned assignments as a field trainer and a jail investigator.
In 2017 Elliott left the Sheriff’s Office to pursue an opportunity at Great Parks of Hamilton County as a Park Ranger. In 2018 he also began working part-time job as a police officer in Ross Township. Mayor Bailey expressed that she is excited with the new addition of Officer Spraul to the City’s Police Department.
