LOVELAND, OHIO (June 9, 2025) — The City of Loveland is thrilled to unveil the complete event schedule for its annual Independence Day Celebration on Friday, July 4, set in the heart of Historic Loveland. With a full day of family-friendly fun, entertainment, and fireworks, this beloved hometown tradition is free and open to the public.
Festivities kick off at 12 p.m. with free parking shuttles running continuously from Loveland High School and the Loveland Early Childhood Center. A full lineup of activities will follow, including the Kids Bike Decorating Contest (1:15 p.m.), Parade (2 p.m.), and an array of family activities throughout Nisbet Park and Railroad Avenue.
Guests can look forward to a packed schedule featuring everything from food trucks, Bingo, and Pedal Pullers to a Team Spelling Bee, the Uncle Sam & Betsy Ross Look-Alike Contest, and the crowd-favorite Pie Eating Contest. Evening highlights include a live concert by Marty and the Docs (7-10 p.m.) at the Nisbet Park Amphitheater and a grand fireworks display at 10 p.m.
“The Independence Day Celebration is one of our biggest events of the year. It brings the entire community together for a day of fun, patriotism, and shared memories,” said City Manager David Kennedy. “We’re grateful to our sponsors and volunteers who help make this event possible.”
