[ARCHIVED] Call for Art: City Flag Contest

Calling all artists! The Loveland Sesquicentennial Committee is preparing for Loveland’s 150-year anniversary in 2026 by leading a public art contest to update the city's official flag.

The new flag will be used for a minimum of 10 years, displayed proudly at city buildings and parks.

A $1,000 honorarium will be awarded for the use of the completed, camera-ready design!

  • Artists that live or work in Loveland and are at least 18 years old are encouraged to submit up to three sample flags.
  • The contest is open to individual artists; please no organizations or artist groups/collaborations.
  • All imagery must be of original design and not a copy or variation of another artist’s design in any medium.

Entries will be accepted through March 31, 2025. Access the design specifications and submit your entry. For questions, please contact Misty Clark at mclark@lovelandoh.gov or (513) 707-1437.
