Cincinnati Reds Hall of Famer George Foster has been named Grand Marshal for the City of Loveland’s 2024 Independence Day Parade.
Foster played in Major League Baseball as an outfielder from 1969-1986, most notably with the Cincinnati Reds with whom he won two World Series championships as part of the "Big Red Machine." He is a five-time All Star, and he earned the league’s Most Valuable Player Award in 1977. In 2003, Foster was inducted into the Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame.
