The Loveland Police Department (LPD) and Loveland Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association (LCPAAA) are sponsoring a “Stuff-A-Truck” event on Saturday, May 11.
The event will be held from 12-8 p.m. during the annual Loveland Food Truck Rally at the Shoppers Haven Plaza, 597 Loveland-Madeira Road.
Residents are encouraged to drop off non-perishable food donations to literally stuff a police truck full! All donations will be given to Loveland LIFE Food Pantry, 541 Loveland-Madeira Road, for distribution. Suggested donations include non-perishables such as soup, canned chicken, canned tuna, cereal, sugar, flour, canned beans, rice, pasta, canned fruits, canned vegetables, crackers, and cookies.
“This food drive is about taking care of our friends and neighbors who may need a bit of a helping hand,” said Peggy Goodwin, LCPAAA President.
LIFE (Loveland Interfaith Effort) Food Pantry is a faith-based organization that provides food, financial assistance, and services to residents within the 45140 zip code. For more information about the event, please contact Peggy Goodwin at (513) 677-9066.
