[ARCHIVED] New Assistant City Manager Hired

Chris Wojnicz

The City of Loveland has hired a new Assistant City Manager, Chris Wojnicz.

Wojnicz (pronounced WINE-itch) will start April 9, replacing former Assistant City Manager Cory Wright. Wright accepted a position with Union Township (Clermont County) in December 2023.

“We are very excited to have a talented individual like Chris join the city’s administration team. He has a thorough knowledge of project management, public and private infrastructure development, finance, community engagement, and grant writing. His skillset will benefit the city’s future as we work on largescale projects like the Loveland-Madeira Road Corridor and economic development,” said David Kennedy, City of Loveland Manager.

Wojnicz has more than 14 years of local government experience and more than two years of civil engineering consulting experience.

He comes to Loveland from the Warren County Water and Sewer Department, where he served as the Deputy Director since 2017. As Deputy Director, Wojnicz managed the completion of $45M of water softening improvements to Warren County’s water system and the design of Polyfluoroalkyl Substance (PFAS) removal from the county’s source water, the first program of its kind in Southwest Ohio. Prior to being promoted to Deputy Director at Warren County Water, Wojnicz served as Assistant Sanitary Engineer for Warren County from 2010 through 2017.

Wojnicz holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Ohio University.  He is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Ohio and a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professional.
