LSFD Volunteer Program Seeking New Members

ESU Recruitment

The Loveland Symmes Fire Department (LSFD) Emergency Services Unit (ESU) volunteer program is recruiting new members.

LSFD-ESU members are City of Loveland and Symmes Township community members of all ages with the common goal of helping their neighbors and visitors to our community. LSFD-ESU is truly "Neighbors Helping Neighbors!"

ESU members work alongside the professional firefighters during training, ride-along time and emergency responses. ESU members provide support at the scene of emergency calls including structure fires, serious crashes, and as needed.

LSFD-ESU was founded in 2005 and has built a strong reputation of service and dedication. The volunteers help their fellow community members in times of need and enjoy a sense of accomplishment, achievement, and pride in the work they do. You'll learn new skills, make new friends, be a part of a team, give back to the community, and make a real difference.

If you commit the time, we can assure you that we will provide:
-Full training, equipment, (at no cost to you) guidance, leadership and ongoing support.
-A safe, effective and meaningful environment.
-Community service and emotional fulfillment. You will absolutely gain a new sense of community and pride as a member of LSFD-ESU.
-Camaraderie with some really good people as a part of the LSFD.

If this sounds like something you would enjoy being part of, please visit the website to learn more and fill out the Volunteer Contact Form. Please submit your form by November 14, 2021.

After reviewing your interest form, we will be in contact. Once your application is reviewed, the prospective members go through an interview process including a background investigation. During the interview, you will be given a complete overview of our operations and different opportunities that you can help us in making our organization and the Loveland-Symmes community better.
