[ARCHIVED] The Candy Police are Back!

Candy Police

It's that time of year again. The Candy Police are back! This time the Loveland Police Department and the Hamilton Township Police Department are working together to bring joy and candy to any kids or adults with special needs who can't trick-or-treat! We want to make sure Halloween is a special day for our special needs kids and adults too! If you live in the City of Loveland or Hamilton Township, and your child or adult can't trick-or-treat due to a disability, we will come to you!

If you would like an officer to visit and bring candy to your loved one please contact Lieutenant Mike Szpak at 513-707-6116 or email him at mszpak@lovelandoh.gov with your name (and loved one's name), address, and a phone number. We will try to schedule all visits between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on October 31st but may adjust the hours due to demand. Unfortunately, we cannot accept the Coronavirus as a special need or disability.

If you would like to donate candy to our Candy Police program please contact Lieutenant Szpak.
