The Loveland Frog, also referred to as the Loveland Frogman or Loveland Lizard, has been likened to Paul Bunyan. A tall tale — or is it?
This friendly frog came to us from the Little Miami River, where its surprise sightings have made it a legend in Ohio folklore since 1955.
Like a true Loveland resident, it loves the many adventures one can have around town. The frog is always up for a bike ride along the Little Miami Scenic Bike Trail, lounging at a Loveland park, or paddling down the river. Growing up in Loveland, the frog knows the best spots for outdoor adventures, food & drink, and one-of-a-kind shopping. The frog is often seen around town lovin’ life – Lovin’ Life Loveland, that is.
Where will you spot the frog?
The Loveland Frog made its debut appearance during the 2023 Hearts Afire Weekend. He can be seen at community events spreading the fun of Loveland.
