The Recreation Board provides for the development, maintenance and operation of recreational facilities and programs for the city.

Stan McCoy Sr. Community Service Award

The Recreation Board is currently accepting nominations for the Stan McCoy Sr. Community Service Award. Nominations must come from the governing body of the nominee's organization, association, committee, commission, etc.  Nominations from organizations in which the nominee has never been a member will not be accepted.  Nominations from individuals will also not be accepted.

Nominees must be persons of quality and integrity who, with love and enthusiasm for the Loveland area, have worked to sustain and improve the community.  Nominees must have been an active participant for at least three years in recreation, park or environmental activities, which benefit the City of Loveland and/or residents.  

The Loveland Recreation Board will make the final selections.  Nominees not selected for the award may be re-submitted.  The award presentation will take place at a Loveland City Council meeting or other appropriate event.  A plaque will be presented to the recipient and their name will also be engraved on a plaque that is displayed at City Hall.
