Firefighters Recognized

Firefighters Award 3-14-23

At the March 14 Loveland City Council meeting, the Loveland-Symmes Fire Department recognized the following individuals for saving a man from a burning building on West Main Street in Loveland in September 2022.

Recipients earned LSFD's Courage in the Line of Duty Award for their efforts involving fire suppression, emergency rescue, and support services.

  • 6001 - Fire Chief Otto Huber
  • 6004 – Deputy Chief Billy Goldfeder
  • 6005 – Deputy Chief Mike Books
  • Battalion 61 – Deputy Chief Harold Gregory
  • Battalion 62 – Captain Brian Hall
  • Quint 62 – Andy Pridemore, Sam Keegan
  • Quint 63 – Captain Eadicicco, Hunter Long, Jacob Shelly, Aaron Swayne
  • Tower 61 – Captain Christian Miller, Tristen Fields, Chris Hilderbrandt, Kali Gray
  • Engine 60 – Captain Brian Ayers, Captain Ray Carthan, Jack George
  • ESU – Lieutenant Geyman, Lieutenant Schepmann, Dean Osborne
  • Milford M71 – Carley Eggmeyer, Anthony Smith
