City Council Says Farewell And Thank You To Officer Tim Wilmes

After 31 years of service to the City of Loveland, Police Officer, Tim Wilmes is calling it a career.  During a presentation at the February 9, 2021, City Council meeting, Police Chief, Sean Rahe, took the time to give the audience a history of Tim's time with city which began in 1990. Chief Rahe, also talked of Tim’s passion for the community which he was born and raised in.  

Tim introduced everyone to his wife and children and thanked them for their patience and support during his long career as a police officer. Tim also took the time to thank his LPD family, the officers which he has shared the challenges and rewards of a life dedicated to public service.  

Mayor Kathy Bailey told the audience that she never remembered a time when she spoke to Tim that he did not talk about how much he enjoyed being a Loveland Police Officer.  Fire Chief, Otto Huber, was on hand to present Tim with a fireman’s helmet and granted him the title of Honorary Fire Chief for 31 years of support on fire and EMS runs.
